Hello MoPar fans, time to let this one go, I bought it from the original owners about 8 years back, It had not been on the road since 1977. it runs and drives now, but will need more work. here's what I've done... had the orig. carb & dist. professionally rebuilt. new fuel system, tank, sender, lines, & pump. I bought new Legendary interior seat covers, seat foam, & carpet, that's all been done, headliner needs installed. upgrades include 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 sure grip, Kelsey- Hayes front disc brakes from a 66 Dart, new master cylinder and p-valve, new Cragar S/S 14" wheels, all still using the small bolt pattern. new tires, and a front sway bar. I drove the car around the neighborhood yesterday, it drives straight and feels tight. the engine feels strong but it does smoke some, tranny shifts firm. The original paint still shines, but its thin...I like that look, just keep it waxed... my plan was to pull the engine for a freshen-up, detail the engine bay, and leave the exterior as is, detail the truck compartment, finish the interior and enjoy...the upgrades that are already done, would allow some one to add more power... that's why I bought a 71 340 !!! its a long block that needs rebuilt, and is available with the car for an additional $1,000 This is a numbers matching very original factory hot rod with little to no rust that you can finish your way...or drive it as is.
