Selling my 1997 Ford F350 XLT with a crew cab, 4x4 with Warn locking hubs, long bed, automatic trans and a Powerstroke 7.3L diesel. This truck was sold new in Colorado and I purchased it in December 2011 from a man who had just brought the truck from Colorado to Michigan for resale. When I purchased the truck it had approx. 107,000 mi. and NO RUST. I am extremely picky about purchasing trucks with NO RUST and keeping them that way. Before even putting this truck on the road I had it taken to one of two rust proofing shops in the State of Michigan that still use the old school Texaco grease as the rust proofing, which is the absolute best you can get. As you can see in the pics the truck is extremely clean and the grease has certainly done its job. That is what you see in the pics of the frame, under body and inside the hood/fenders. The truck currently has 164,524 ORIGINAL MILES, this will change as I still drive the truck every once in a while. In the winters I very rarely drove this truck to keep it out of any salt. It is almost 20 years old so the truck is not perfect. There are some small dings in the bed and there are some swirls and a chip or two in the paint from washing over the years. It has a removable gooseneck ball in the bed, spray in bed liner, receiver style rear hitch and brake controler. Over the years that I have had the truck I have replaced the glow plugs, batteries, brakes, water pump, thermostat, and brake vacuum booster. I am not a believer in "rolling coal" or blowing smoke so the motor is stock. I did change to a larger downpipe from the turbo, a 4" Diamond Eyes exhaust and a Riff Raff air cleaner to help the 7.3L breath a little better and also make it sound nice. The tires were replaced this past January and have about 3,000 miles on them, I have used the truck very little this year which is why I have decided to sell it. I would absolutely not hesitate in jumping in this truck and driving to California tomorrow. The interior is as nice as the exterior on this truck. Again it is almost 20 years old so there is some wear but the seats had covers on them since new, the covers were showing their age so I removed them before taking pics, needless to say the seats are excellent. The truck will not leave until the payment has been received in full (and cleared my bank). $500 deposit through paypal is due within 48 hours of auction close.
