1974 CAMARO Z-28(TO VIEW VIDEO CUT AND PASTE THIS LINK.....https://youtu.be/5QXFi1sFfeU)Up for sale by a private party is this 2-owner, original, and numbers matching 1974 Camaro Z-28. This particular vehicle is equipped with the optional factory original Borg Warner, T-10, 4-speed. Additionally, this “Z” did not come with A/C. It was installed by the current owner in the late 1970’s and was installed to the factory location using original style venting in the interior. The original AM/FM radio works, including the 8-track tape player. Over all the entire car is in very good condition and has been driven approximately 35,000 original miles. Current owner is the second owner and purchased the car in 1976. He had the car repainted in 1978 to the original midnight blue. This Z-28 did not come with the optional striping, but did include the LT type interior. Car has always been garage kept and since the late 1980’s was only driven to local car shows and cruise meets. All of the numbers match including the engine, trim tag, transmission, and rear differential. Car came with the standard 350 cubic inch Chevrolet engine boasting 245 h.p. This was also the last year for the Z-28 until 1978, when it was re-introduced to the Chevrolet lineup, but lacked the “true” performance of the prior models. Listed are the specifics on this Z-28. BODY & PAINT Midnight Blue – repainted 2-stage urethane in 1978 There have been no replacement or patch panels ever added and it has never been in an accident. Minor rust has developed behind the left rear wheel (see photo). ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, & DIFFERENTIAL Original 350 c.i. /245 h.p. Chevy. (Never rebuilt, regular basic maintenance performed) Original Quadrajet Carburetor Vintage M/T valve covers (originals not included) Factory original Borg Warner T-10, 4-speed. New clutch pack assembly was installed in 1985. Posi-traction rear differential w/3.73:1 gears. (4) Goodyear Eagle 245 x 60R x 15’s mounted on the original Z-28 wheels. Original spare tire and wheel in trunk Original Chrome exhaust tips Factory smog equipment included, but not connected. INTERIOR Original LT type interior in good condition shows limited wear. All dash lights and exterior lights function normally Clock’s second hand goes around, but the minute & hour hands do not move AM/FM 8-track player operates fine New head liner is included, but not installed All glass is original and in excellent condition Window mechanisms function normally A/C works, but needs recharging. Please note that the speedometer and odometer do not function and have not worked since the clutch assembly was replaced in 1985. Mileage is an estimate.
