Up fpr sale is a 1978 Volkswagon Transporter Van with 95000 miles, overall a right nice van, has the usual rust as seen in the pictures, the worst problem in in the rain gutter at the rear and some rust spots on the top. the van drives, steers, shifts and stop as it should, all gauges and lights work as should. One thing that needs to be repaired in the engine, it runs but has a low speed miss from a weak compressing on number 3 cylinder 70 lbs, the others range 150/160. this VW could be driven daily while improving as money or time allows. The tires look road ready?. The under side is really nice and I don't see any rust though except were shown in picture at driver side door floor [Small patch needed] Virginia State inspection receipt, mileage stated, from last owner 03 to 08, the van was stored in a building from 08 tp 2015. In my younger day I have restored a number of vehicle and I would say this will make a great driver with a little work or a great vichicle for a total restoration.. NOTE the vehicle come with a teak wood luggage rack that in nice shape the wood needs varnish.I tried to post a picture, but could not. Also a new VW eblem for the front.
