Vehicle Detail

This vehicle has undergone a complete frame-off rebuild. Everything has been replaced with new or has been rebuilt. The frame was sand blasted and painted with POR-15. The birdcage is rust free. This car can be driven around town or on the highway without any problems. It originally had A/C but the entire system was removed and replaced with a regular heater only type system. The flapper valve in the cowl for MAX A/C was left in place. This car was not restored to be NCRS correct, but to be a high quality driver. And it is that- a fun, fast, attention grabbing and dependable Classic Corvette.New or rebuilt parts include: 427 engine completely machined 060 over with Comp Cams 11-601-4 camshaft and Seal Power L2300 pistons and 336781 heads resurfaced flywheel and new clutch high torque mini starter Corvette central 2 1/2" Magna Flow exhaust lopes at idle, rumbles at cruise and roars when you nail it Dewitts radiator and dual Spal fans rebuilt M 20 transmission new balanced driveshaft and U joints rebuilt 3.36 ratio differential new fuel and brake lines rebuilt calipers new fuel tank and sender rebuilt suspension at all four corners including trailing arms spreader bar new tires new carpet new canvas soft top (not vinyl) Al Knoch leather seats rebuilt Tilt/Telescope steering column OEM radio with dash and footwell speakers Lectric Limited wiring harnesses Corvette Victory Red paint done in 2007 shows a few minor blemishes from driving bumpers have been re-chromed new luggage rack EDIT 7/9: rebuilt steering box 9/16" factory type rear sway bar All systems operate properly including vacuum and all gauges work. This car starts, drives and sounds like a Big Block Corvette should. Inspections are welcome before auction concludes. Vehicle has a clear North Carolina title and was cleared by the Fraud and Theft Bureau of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's office before such title was issued as is standard practice for North Carolina. NOTE: Pictures of frame and suspension were taken with original SBC, which has been replaced with the existing 427 engine. Paste these two addresses to your browser for Videos. Sorry I couldn't get the link to work directly, but I'm more of a mechanic than a computer expert. In the second video the camera shut off a few seconds before I wanted it to, but you'll get the idea. Use this for the vehicle.   https://youtu.be/cl8Iop1B_U0    And this for a ride.    https://youtu.be/x1td4ElGN0Q
