Overall very good condition, no body damage or rust. Good restoration done on this VW but needs a few minor things to make it perfect (needs passenger side mirror, minor touch-up of paint on rear engine hood, fix the horn and taillight bulbs, windshield wiper motor very slow and no wiper fluid tank). If you don't mind making these few minor repairs, you'll have the best Bug in your neighborhood. Excellent interior headliner, seats (no tears or rips), black carpet lining, Empi shifter, original spare tire in trunk (excellent condition) mounted on black steel stock rim. Trunk is immaculate as well. I recently had new brakes installed (replaced the drums and rotors), put on newly powder-coated red stock steel rims, and new correct size radial tires all around (Nanking 165/80/15). It runs good, but a tune-up might be due. I have owned this car for a few years but have never been able to drive it on a regular basis or appreciate it due to military deployments and moving. It's been garaged the entire time except for several short trips around town. For me, it's not practical to keep around anymore. Moving again soon, so I am selling this neat little bug. Hate to see it go, but it's time for someone else to enjoy this car. Clear title. Three keys. Local pickup or you must arrange for transport. On Dec-10-15 at 16:28:32 PST, seller added the following information: Late add: I uploaded a pic of the trunk and spare tire when I got home from work tonight, sorry about the flash. There is a black vinyl cover over the gas tank which is in excellent condition. The spare is an original bias ply whitewall mounted on a black steel stock rim. The other picture is of a small thin crack I noticed tonight as well, on the back of the Bug running vertically from the bottom to the back lid. It looks like a small split in the panel, might have been done during transport from WA back to TX last month.
