2001 Mercedes CL600 AMG Brabus for sale. VIN# - WBD2153781A011339 (Originally sold in the European market) This is an extremely special car! This is a True German made and imported to the U.S. car, meaning it was originally sold at a dealership in the European market. This particular car is super rare, it is a AMG/Brabus combo package! It has the DOHC V12 AMG engine, AMG Dual exhaust, Brabus wheels, Brabus front spoiler, and all the available options for this model car. It was Mercedes flagship car, and the most expensive one built this year. On top of the $122,000 original base model sticker price, you can add on the AMG and Brabus packages. *The Florida State vehicle title is clean and clear. The car runs and drives superbly, but it does has some issues that need to be addressed, some more important than others. 1) The car's rear hydraulic suspension is completely bottomed out. This just happened, and I have not brought it in to get diagnosed. It does raise a tiny bit when started, but minimally. There is NO hydraulic leak. 2) The moon roof seal has a small leak, or, the drain tubing is clogged. When it rains, there is a drip. I removed the driver's side A-pillar molding, because water was channeling down it. By removing the molding, the water simply drips down instead of going in places where it shouldn't. 3) The windshield wiper fluid reservoir level sensor needs to be replaced. There is a spray nozzle jet missing in the driver's headlight fluid sprayer. 4) Crack in windshield. (Your auto insurance will replace it with comprehensive coverage). The drivers door mirror has a crack, but I do have a replacement glass mirror that is new in the package that you can simply adhere over it or all out replace. 5) Driver's seat cushion has tear. Front passenger's seat cushion has a light stain. A couple seat belt locks aren't cosmetically great. This is a 2001, so the interior needs the basic TLC, it's 14yrs old. 6) The Air Conditioning/Heater Control Unit needs to be replaced. The unit can be purchased used at a cheap price and simple to install. 7) The alarm siren does not work, but the lights will blink when activated. These are a common problem because they have an internal rechargeable battery that simply goes bad over time. 8) There must be a leak in the air tubing because the door locks do not always work, or sometimes they do slowly. The trunk release is also operated pneumatically on the same system, so does not work. It can be opened by the key though. 9) The front control arm bushings are "slightly" worn to where they squeak when going over a speed bump, etc. The actual car's handling is not effected in any way, just a squeak noise on the bumps at parking lot speed. *THE REAR SUSPENSION IS THE ONLY MAJOR PROBLEM that needs to be foremost addressed. Overall, this is a good car that is fantastic to drive. I went out to the car one morning to a dead battery. After recharging the battery, I noticed the climate control unit didn't turn on. I figured that the unit which went bad, was the cause of the dead battery, so I simply unplugged it. Soon after restarting the car, the rear suspension dropped, and the car has been parked since for the last couple of weeks. As long as the car is started once a day, the battery will stay maintained, otherwise, it will be slowly drained by whatever the problem is. I purchased this great car back in August and drove it for two months. I did have 2 brand new Michelin tires installed in the front, brand new battery, new alternator, brand new rear 3rd brake light, oil change, new engine air filters, new cabin air filters, spark plugs, rear passenger power window regulator/assembly replaced, new fuel tank cap. *I do have a new fuel filter, transmission filter, Navigation CD, and Mercedes digital CD repair manual, that will be included with the purchase. *This will be a cash only purchase, no checks, no money orders, no PayPal, and no trades. *Due to the lowered back suspension, the car can not drive beyond 30mph because the computer is in safety "limp" mode, so do not expect to drive this car home. The car is being sold as is, with no expressed warranty. I've listed all the known issues. Do not bid if you do not have the cash funds available. The vehicle will have to be picked up and payment received within 7 days of auctions end.
