Vehicle Detail
Up for auction, one excellent condition 1986 Honda 200X ATC. This is the rare six speed with the updated engine, all original mechanically starts first kick every time with no choke. This trike has underwent a light restoration as follows:New Maier plastics (original plastics come with the trike as pictured, they had started to spiderweb - which is why I replaced them);Replaced the rear wheels with the pictured Honda 400EX wheels, which look clean oem style and are good for donuts (comes with original factory wheels with newer mud tires as pictured);New fork boots; 1.5" wheel spacers on the rear wheels to allow for wider stance and better stability (can be easily removed); New oem style front tire; andNew Renthal handle bars with oem Honda grips.Other than that, all stock -- this is the original engine and gas tank paint, original seat - showing minor wear. I did replace all of the fluids, installed new brake pads, fresh spark plug, new air filter - runs perfect shifts through all 6 gears smoothly disc brakes work great. Comes with clear CA pink slip / title, winning bidder will NOT be disappointed - low reserve for this special and very fun machine. This is not a show bike as it has underwent a light restoration (gas tank touched up, front light housing repaired, etc) - but still collectible as the 86's are rarer and you can ride this one! Much more reliable than 250R, tri z or tecate - this survivor 3 wheeler was designed for racing and is a blast to ride! Please e-mail any questions, winning bidder required to make $500 deposit within 24 hours of close of auction. Trike sold "AS IS" with no express or implied warranties, local Bay Area bidders are welcome to inspect the machine with an appointment. Thanks for looking, please ask any questions PRIOR TO bidding, appreciate it!
