1982 Honda FT500 Ascot FT 500 Red Purchased bike with a bad motor to repair for a friend but life happens and they could not buy it The previous owner had put new tires on it along with some other mechanical work but the cam seized and ruined the head and rocker box I replaced the motor with a used one. Fresh oil and filter along with new plug and spark plug cap It looks really good in the photos but has some cosmetic flaws I have cleaned and re-jetted the carb and have the 17 tooth front sprocket for the recommended mods Starter Pinion Bushings have been replaced with needle bearings Between my son and I we have 5 Ascots. I have sourced and sell all of the pieces for the listed modifications It will come with a new battery that is still in the box - It has a battery in it now but it is not the correct one The speedometer shows less than 1000 miles and the parts bike did not have the speedo Ask questions before bidding Check out my other items!
