Vehicle Detail
This is my 1969 Pontiac GTO that I've had in storage for a little over a year. I'm selling it because I no longer have the time to finish restoring it, though it's almost done. The interior is completely new except for the dash which has a matching dash cap. It has hideaway headlights which work. It also has A/C, though I do not have the compressor. The exterior's paint was done a little under three years ago. I have pictures of the paint job that I can email. The rear bumper will need to be repainted or replaced. The bumper is not damaged, but I had removed the paint from a portion of it to see if it was chrome or just steel. It does not have the original engine, so it's not numbers matching, though it still moves pretty darn fast. It has completely new disc brakes up front, as well as master cylinder and brake booster. I have a disc brake kit for the rear brakes (which work fine), but I haven't had the time to install them. I have several dash parts for a full dash restoration if that's the route you take, as well as a radio that looks like the original, but plays modern digital music from mp3 players and aux units. It will also come with a $350 car cover to protect it if you don't have the means to store it inside (It is currently garage kept and covered). The trim around the front and rear windshield has been removed, but is placed in the trunk. I had removed it to make sure it was clean underneath (i.e no rust) and it is clean. All in all it's a fun car to drive and take a cruise around in. It will take minimal effort to complete the restoration (painting bumper, restoring dash pad and installing trim). I wish I had more time to finish it up! This is a running, driving car which I've taken on a couple road trips with no issue. Thanks for looking
