NO RESERVE 1970 Chevy C10 Short Bed 350 V8 4 Speed Manual - Title In Hand Unfortunately, the time has come for me to sell my C10. This exact truck has always been my dream truck. I have had my fun with it, but other things have come up and I need to sell it. I hope it goes to a good home where someone will enjoy it and appreciate it as much as I have. There has never been a day where someone doesn't stop me to ask questions, give me a thumbs up, or ask to take pictures of the truck. It is definitely a head turner, so if you do not like attention, this is not the one for you. This is my 1970 Chevrolet C-10 (clean and clear title in my name), factory short wheel base, and matching 350 v8 and 4 speed in the floor manual transmission. This is a very rare combination in itself and I looked for a while before I was able to find it. This is NOT a cut/swapped truck. Title in hand along with the original owners manual and keys. Original vin plates and build sticker is still in place (pictured). The 350 engine runs perfectly and fires up as soon as you hit the key, even after sitting for a few days. It has a mild but great sounding aftermarket cam, Holley 600 carburetor, headers, full Flowmaster exhaust which dumps under the bed, and a few Edelbrock engine dress up pieces that really makes the engine look clean. New fuel tank, fuel pump, and sending unit. Also a new fuel filter. The bottom side of the engine is bone dry; it has absolutely no leaks of any kind and does not burn or use oil. The 4 speed transmission is geared super low with 1st gear being a "granny gear". You can take off in 2nd gear with no problem. The clutch is great. The truck does have the positive traction rear end which is also matching and original to the truck. I had the whole truck painted less than a month ago and it looks awesome. It isn't a perfect "10/10 show truck paint job" but it is super nice. The body is nearly perfect. There are one or two small dings on the tail gate which I will try to show pictures of. Before the truck was painted, I had any dings removed and any small rust areas taken care of. There is still a little rust in the passenger side bottom of the fender (pictured). The rockers and cab corners are solid. The frame has no rust and has been coated to prevent any rust from starting. There is no rust at all under the carpet or in the floors. The truck rolls on old school Outlaw 15x10" wheels and a set of 275/60r15 tires which will need replaced soon (they're old tires and have some dry rot). The windshield is also the original one and is fogged up along the bottom. The interior of the truck is all stock except for the steering wheel which was already there when I bought it. No AC or radio but it is already wired for one. The carpet is all new and is a molded carpet kit made for this truck and fits well. All gauges work except for the tachometer which is aftermarket (added by the last owner). The heater worked but I believe a ground wire has come loose somewhere as it has not been working lately. I'll try to have this fixed before the truck sells. Of course, it will come with the pistol shift knob and "Johnny Cash is a friend of mine" sticker! I have tried to list everything I can think of about the truck but there is so much to list, I may have forgotten a thing or two. Overall, this is a very nice "driver" C10. I love it and hate to get rid of it. Someone will be getting an awesome truck that they will enjoy for a long time. If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I'm listing this at a no reserve because I'm confident that the truck will sell for a fair price considering how the market is for them right now. These are getting harder and harder to find and the values will only keep going up. Don't miss out on this one. Thanks for looking and good luck! A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auctions end. Full payment is due within 5 days. I would be glad to help the buyer with shipping or pickup. I can also hold the truck in my garage as long as needed if you need to arrange shipping/pick up. Below are lots of pictures and a link to a walk around video of the truck. You will notice that some pictures make the truck look red while others make it look orange. This is because of the lighting and I used more than one camera to take some of the pictures.
