Just 12,400 ORIGINAL MILES! 1947 BUICK Super SEDANETTE 2DR FASTBACK STREAMLINER I have run out of storage for my exceptional classic cars and must sell this two owner, Buick that is all original and has but 12400 miles from new in 1947! The first owners drove this car only in the summer and stored it for all those years in heated storage. Thus the low odometer reading. As a loved family heirloom they invested in a full rotisserie repaint and had all chrome and replated and polished. Car has near perfect original Buick colors, blue over grey, by professional car restoration shop with no corners cut. I HAVE AN ALBUM SHOWING THE REPAINT PROCESS! Car needs NOTHING! I mounted new COKER classic Black walls in Sept 2015 due to aged rubber. Less than 200 miles on tires! I also added two original NOS Buick rear view mirrors this month. Paint shows perhaps 2 tiny specs of chips to hood rear edge (see image) I just never had time to touch them up! INTERIOR: All original cloth is near perfect. Perfect dashboard , gauges, celluloid knobs, side panels, sparkling chrome and original AM Buick push button radio . All gauges work!!! Grey fabric interior shows three pin size coffee spots on passenger door panel ( will clean) and 3 square inches of moth light damage on rear seat cushion top right side corner. Beautiful original clean headliner and seat material. Perfect floors and door sills with original stainless nameplates . The original plastic steering wheel has ONE hairline crack ( does not detract) As new 1947 rubber mats floor carpeting. Original spare in truck with Buick tools kit. Chrome locking gas cap. NOTE: I only invest in special and unique vehicles when they come along. I would happily keep this wonderful car if I had the time and room. I offer it for sale as a great investment that will only grow in value. This car has a smooth shifting transmission, strong straight eight and strong brakes. Car is original 6 volt. No steering issues. No power steering (sorry!) It is a reliable road car and a joy to cruise my friends in. I am offering this great BUICK at lower than appraised value to SELL!
