1997 BMW 750iL V12 E38 luxury sedanAlpine White / Black leather202,162 milesI am the 2nd owner since 2002.I am a 21 year member of the BMW CCA and have owned six BMWs.I follow what has become an 'old school' method of maintenance, both repair and preventive maintenance.This car shows all the benefits of this level of care.I have maintained this car very well and it shows in appearance and operation. Starts/runs/drives/stops - all currently strong. Car has April, 2016 PA safety and emissions inspections. BMW DSC w/ ASC, ABSLights, signals, switches, handles, all functional.Recent Michelins all around. Heated power front seats w/ lumbar adjustment and heated steering wheel - all in very good condition.Leather dashboard material.BMW Security side window glass - BMW says it is bullet resistant Power windows and sunroof all currently working.14 speaker 440 watts stereo, Cassette, 6 disc CD Pioneer style cartridges (I have several CD cartridges to pass with sale so you can load them up with your CDs) - all working, sounds awesomeCigarette / cigar lighters all there (I do not smoke and previous owner did not smoke).Original rear seat foot rests are in very good like new condition (I had them out of the car most of the time).Ski passthru in rear seat with very good condition ski sack.Very large trunk space. Complete and original BMW tools in the trunk lid storage space. Very complete maintenance file including original owner maintenance records (car's life) comes with purchase.Engine top gasket job at 157K miles by Auto Perfection, Bethel Park, PA. I have a complete other set of BMW 750iL OEM wheels with snow tires mounted on them available for sale. I will make buyer a sweet deal on these if you want them. You will need to pay shipping or pick them up.Car is strong in snow on all season tires, but remarkable IMHO in snow with snow tires thanks to the BMW traction control system.There is a full service spare in the trunk. I also have another spare in like new condition available (total: 10 wheels and tires are available). Car has been driven from Pittsburgh, PA to Troy, MI and back in the same day multiple times.Car has made trips to Florida, NYC, Boston and various Great Lakes destinations. Car has been at home most nights and so car has been garaged most of the time. Car has not been out in many winters for the past ten years; stored in heated garage on Battery Tender under a custom fit BMW 750iL heavy duty exterior grade car cover (cover with sale).Current issues include, but not necessarily limited to: rust/corrosion under side rockers and several half-dollar sized spots on bodyBMW Security glass side windows delaminating; three out of four; the right side front window glass is perfect because I replaced it in 2015 due to excessive delaminatingleft side rear window glass also has hairline cracks due to the delaminating; I recently taped it with clear Gorilla tape; it stands up fine to open/close operations and is actually nearly invisible at 20 ft awayheadliner sagging several inches over rear seat area; does not block rear view mirror view; will need addressed by buyer at some point in timefront console cup holder broken; it will stay in place inside the dash so it's not like it is hanging out; but it's not at all usable to hold a can; could be replaced by buyerrear power seat electronics runs on so I disconnected it at the connector behind the left side rear seat, which also disconnects the rear window privacy screen which was workingsome hairline cracking of the interior wood trim (nearly invisible but there)rear side window privacy screens work up/down on the large main rear side windows, but the roller shades on the small triangle rear side windows have been removed; trim intactsome scuffs here and there on surfaces, but no major or ugly issues; car interior and exterior present very wellOriginal carpeted floor mats are serviceable, but show some wear (very high quality). This car can be expensive to maintain. So, if you buy it, you need to want it. And you need to take your chances. And you need to plan to have some $$ when time comes to repair it. The car could also now or at some future date become a great candidate IMHO for a part out. I have maintained the car very well, so there are many nice parts to this automobile.
