Vehicle Detail
If Ford made a Falcon like this, they'd still be making Falcons. This beautiful car was featured in the May 2001 issue of Hot Rod magazine. The workmanship is superb. The article and the original owner's handbook are included with the car. All the virtues of a Falcon, simplicity and economy (26 mpg), with the added bonus of turbo power and much improved ride and handling when you want it. The interior is all new and it looks and drives like a new car. And it is fast and smooth, guaranteed to make you smile. As the Hot Rod magazine article points this car was owned by the Drew family in California for decades. When it was stolen and recovered, Bruce Drew of Ellwanda, California took it down to bare metal and rebuilt it better than new. Drew is a turbo and fuel injector technician by trade, the car is the product of craftsmanship, care, and good taste. It rides 2 inches lower than stock on KYB shocks and, as noted above, it has an aluminum driveshaft behind a stout 87 Ford Ranger T-5 five speed transmission. Period correct American Torque Thrust wheels (195-60R-15 tires). I am listing this for a collector friend of mine who has meticulously cared for this car. It needs nothing. Please feel free to ask questions and to see more pictures.
