Vehicle Detail

This will be the one and only time I try to sell this on eBay as it cost 45 dollars just to list. I know what I have so please no low ball offers on the side. I've been watching the IROC market since 2005. This is my 3rd and I initially thought it would make a fun rally car to take across country as I had done in my '86 IROC until I got it in person. I thought I was buying a cool 3rd gen in great condition, what I got was an instant collection piece, and I don't want anything I can't tinker with. ALL ORIGINAL minus the tires and battery. I even posted a picture of the original engine belts. I know what is for sale online, and this IROC is in the best condition out of all others I've seen online, and has the lowest miles. I think the next closest is an IROC with 80k miles, 60k+ more miles than this one. I saw a local shop sell an '86 with 9,xxx miles on it for $29,000 on their ebay page and that car had beginning signs of fading, a 305 engine, drum rear brakes, and a hard top with cloth interior. Again I know what I have, I know what has sold in this quality category. If I had the space to keep and get another one to modify I would but with 4 vehicles and a 3 bay garage something has got to give. NO ODOMETER ROLLOVER! I hate when I see people selling their older cars and there are clear signs the odometer has rolled over. This cars underneath is too clean to have ever passed 100k miles, the steering wheel has no signs of wear, and all the switches in the car show no signs of rubbing. Seats are still firm and un-faded with no tears. 0 fading or fiberglass cracking on the outside. No out of whack gaps, or doors difficult to open or close. You are bidding on legit collectors car. Not to forget to mention this thing is fast! I've had it 140 on the Texas Motor Speedway at a car show which I also won. Though I did not drag it, just took it around on two laps. The car was really at home on the speedway let me tell you. Most fun I've ever had in an IROC......legally. Overview: For sale is my 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc-Z. This is the most collectable and sought out iteration of the F-Body’s because this was the first year for the 350 engine and the last year for this particular style wheel and stripe package This was the first year for the Corvette L-98 to come in the IROC. Which automatically carries the 4 wheel disk brakes and the Dana rear end. This example is all original and comes to you with all of the documentation from when it was new and the original owner took delivery of it on Christmas Eve 1986. Down to the sold tag that hung off the the rear view mirror. This car has always been exercised regularly (no puff of white smoke upon start up. Common to these cars; caused by leaky valve guides) and runs absolutely as new. No piston slap or "knocking" The transmission shifts flawlessly. I am the 5th owner. The last owner was a collector who took on some financial issues and had to let it go. The owner prior has mileage logs that have been kept on the car from day one. The bill of sale for each transaction is included from the original owner to present day. Every annual safety inspection. The original window sticker. Original build sheet. Sales brochures. Anything that pertains to the car from day one is in the packet. There is no question to the provenance of this car. This car would qualify as a “benchmark” car in the future l because it is absolutely all original. It carries everything that it rolled off of the Norwood Assembly Line with except for the original Gatorback tires and battery and I had the windows professionally tinted (hatch is one piece. not three). Other than those three things. the car comes to you with everything it was born with. I replaced the Gatorbacks with the current Goodyear variant. Every belt. hose. sparkplug. etc. is original and date coded 10-86. Full synthetics have been regularly changed throughout. the car is impeccable. This is a fully loaded car. There is not one option that it does not have except rear glass louvers. Also, I had the alternator replaced however ,I kept the original, and have it preserved. It has leather (uber rare). The overhead console. Self-dimming mirror and the factory Bose subs in the rear which I personally have never seen before . The POWER antennae works flawlessly. The rear tray is fully carpeted. The driver’s seat is fully automatic. Smoke Free environment. Only 1,384 were made with electric automatic seats! Even fewer with the bose delco sub system. I included a picture of the RPO tag in the glove box so you can look up all the options yourself. This car can be daily driven, kept for a weekend cruiser, or kept strictly as a show car. Just like new. And it is FAST! Don't let its age fool you. These 350's are torque monsters! As far as condition. it is a tier 1 car. The odometer shows 19,851 miles but the car looks absolutely showroom new. The car has NEVER been driven in the rain. The T-tops do not leak (car washes) and comes with the original storage bag for them. The headliner is perfect as well as the interior. even the floor mats are original to the car and show no wear. The A/C blows as cold as ice and is all original. Everything works on the car as new. All the switchgear is absolutely perfect (no rubbing off at all of the icons). The car has always been stored in a climate controlled setting under a car cover (which is included. a $350 value). hooked up to a battery tender. Original paint. no rust. unbelievable shine! There are a few rock chips from the normal course of driving to car shows. So minor they don't show in photos. I can not say enough how original this car is. There are very few flaws and are described accurately. The few minor flaws are vastly outweighed by the options. Condition & the originally of the car. They weren't this nice IN 1987!!! If you are looking for a collector grade 3rd Gen Camaro this is it. It will never go down in value. The car has extremely low miles on it. but has enough that it can be enjoyed. It is not one of the sub 2000 mile examples that comes up every now and then that you can’t really drive because the miles are too low. (Also. not good on the seals for a car to sit with such little use). NO DISAPPOINTMENTS WITH THIS CAR. I have been collecting F body Camaros for years and this is the most original. Highly documented example that I have seen anywhere. Only thing I think can beat it is the super rare 1LE 3rd gen. Buyer is responsible for shipping. but I will be more than happy to assist. This sale is final and car is "as is". Words can not express or capture the condition of this car. Look at the pictures & watch the video. Deposit is Non-Refundable. Low reserve! JJBestBanc is great for classic car loans if you need one.
