Vehicle Detail

First this vehicle has ant-theft device with alarm, a remote start 200 Feet, does NOT have radio, amp or rear speakers. Leather seats all though show some signs of age, cracking and such, but also you have a tv with an analog converter wired into the tv system, i've tested it and it works. It even has video ports in the back, and you get interior lights that follow the headliner. I just parts, tires, alternator, battery, and these easy items you have over a thousands dollars if you part it out. (Click to expand for more information) The engine head and cylinders were rebuilt at 153,000 miles and has the information plate riveted to the engine compartment. Three speed transmission with overdrive, runs smooth, and I drove this vehicle to flint and back many times for school with no problems. The inside has been cleaned and cleaned again the previous owner was a smoker and does not smell like smoke to me, I don't smoke, the carpet has been shampooed, and then entire van has been gone over and scrubbed. The vehicle has been driven up until about two weeks ago when the extent of the drives side frame damage was found. The battery and alternator are less than a year old the oil pressure sensor has been replaced, along with the drivers side window motor and lift, the thermostat has been replaced with one that exceeds oem specifications. The exterior cylinder head and the exhaust manifold were professionally repair and matted. The wheels were replace when I bought it less than a year ago have a 70,000 mile warranty and have 7/32 left on the tread pretty much like new, and have been balanced and rotated every 7,000 miles, purchased from discount tire. The exhaust headers have new gaskets, their are no engine lights, it runs smooth, the spark plugs have been replaced, recent oil change no metal so the cylinder heads are good, the rear seat transforms into a bed, the suspension is good, the brakes are good half life remaining. This car has been inspected by a independent mechanic, and minus the frame has no engine, suspension, transmission, brake, drive train, starting and charging problems. A reliable car that will start in the morning, even in the winter, drives through snow with ease. Uses the same amount of gas as a medium to large truck. If you fix the frame I am sure you can flip this as in fair condition this appraises for 1,500, what you won't have to do is engine work this is a 300,000 mile engine easy if properly maintained, no smoke, it runs right on line, not to lean and not to rich. I can provided you with documentation on all repairs, bought parts, and have the title in my possession, the car is insured and is really a nice car to drive. Time for the bad, initially the drivers side frame damage was thought to be far less sever then where it is now, it can be repaired, but I do not have the time, equipment, or money to do a proper job, so I am selling this Van, towing this vehicle it's almost a must, NO steering. The interior tie rod junction connects to this point and could cause the frame to twist, or fail, causing sever damage to the car and possible injury to the driver. That is the main problem but you also have rust at the rocker panels and around the van where it makes contact with water, and snow, but does not take away fromt the structural integrity of the Van. It is missing one of the rear bucket seats when I bought it this seat was not present, the Air Conditioning may or may not work, I never used it never had a pressure test done, and never charged the system, so it might work. The rear heater core has been bypassed and could have a leak in it, I never got around to opening the compartment to check. The interior 12Volt plug one works the other I have pulled out for testing but feel that the line has been overloaded and will need to be replaced, but have not determined the source. The fan output selection has no vacuum so the selection switch has been set to defrost but the heat works, and I drove this fan last winter just turn the fan to high, and hit the remote start and you set. When trying to replace this the junk yard parts keep freezing and breaking, but if you can get one before the deep freeze I think it would work. The drivers side door lock actuator is a little stiff I rebuilt it but could not find a source for the new one, well that is too say one at a reasonable price. I am going to start the bidding at $900.00 what I paid for the car the alternator and battery cost me $400.00, the stereo system cost me $600.00 from Mickey Shore, the cylinder head repair was $600.00, fixing the heat was $300.00, and the tires cost me $700.00. Not to mention all the other little parts that I repaired my self.
