Click Here for ton of pictures of the full restoration of this car. I only put a few pictures on the listing but in this file folder is the whole lot of photos I have. Freshly restored 1967 Ford Mustang coupe. This car has a ton of history and I have all of the documentation to show for it. Originally it was white. When I bought it, it was red. Then I restored it to its current form, in black. I have the original owners manual, the original title to the first person who bought this car new, the original manufactures build sheet, the original purchase order and owner identification tag. This type of documentation is hard to come by. I am not a dealer or someone that flips cars. I'm just a guy that loves cars, Mustangs in particular. I bought this car about a year and a half ago and immediately jumped into restoring it. My idea was to make it a straight body GT coupe clone. A ton of time (and money) went into the restoration. I easily have 50k in the rebuild. This isn't a show car, but its as close to a show car as you'd want your daily driver. I had the exterior body completely restored. It was showing small specks of rust so I had the entire body stripped down to bare metal, acid washed and then polyester primered with kevlar reinforcement through PPG. It's amazingly and straight. The lines on this car are second to none. This is not a full body restoration in that the interior or the undercarriage was not ripped out and restored. The original metal was in pristine condition so I left those pieces alone. Paint and body are easily a 8-9. Beautiful paint and you'll know that it's going to stay straight for years to come. The rear end of this car is the heart and soul of this build. It's got that infamous finned trunk and quarter extensions like that of the shelby mustang. I took it one step further and had the quarter panel extensions (fiberglass from Mustangs to Fear) molded onto the car instead of having them just bolted on. Its sooooo straight and smooth. You won't find a straighter rear end in this style. The fenders, doors, and all other removable parts were sent off to be media blasted before installation. Drip rails were shaved. Vent cowl shaved. Emblems shaved. Rear cowl molded into once piece. New (body only) trim parts: New stainless steel trim - every piece is new.New headlightsNew headlight bucketsNew grill (Mustangs to fear)New bumpersNew bumper guardsNew turn signal housing and lightsNew quarter window glass (the entire assembly including glass is new)New vent window glass (the entire assembly including glass is new)New HoodNew deck lidNew wheels 17" wheels and tiresNew mirrorsNew handlesNew tail lights.New weather stripping. All new from inside and outside. Every last piece or rubber is new.New windshield wipersNew hoop pinsNew hood hingesNew rolled rear fenders to allow for a wider tire to be installed and no rubbing would occur. New front glassNew rear glass The interior metal was in such good of shape that I left it alone. I did not have it restored. However most of the interior trim and parts are brand new. The doors were painted/restored inside and out and were restored however. See below New dash padNewly Painted dashNew aluminum dash (like the shelby)New aluminum door panels. New door handlesNew window cranksNew door knobsNew weatherstripping (all new rubber from top to bottom)New custom audio sound slide bar radio. New kick panel speaker pods with Infinity Kappa SpeakersNew package tray with 6X9 Infinity Reference SpeakersNew Speaker wiringNew Mustangs to Fear one piece headliner with console and map lightsNew illuminated door sill platesNew quarter panel trimsNew windlaceNew Mustangs to Fear trunk kitNew Carpet New bucket seats with Sport Foam and leather/suede TMI seat coversNew back seat and seat back with sport foam and leather suede seat covers (matches front buckets)New 15" wood steering wheelNew Cold Air Products electronically controlled heater and Air Conditioner with new Heater Box. (Heat/AC/Defrost)New Mustangs to Fear center consoleNew Shifter handle and leverNew Shift light The only thing about the interior that is not brand new is the drivers and passengers side door window. They are original. I couldn't find a decent set of originals or new remanufactured ones so I stuck with the original. Mechanically this car is rock solid. It's the original 289 that had a complete performance rebuild through Jasper engines. The original C-4 transmission was pulled and rebuilt by Jasper as well. Transmission box was rebuild and transmission handle and lever and all its' components are new and very solid.Cold Air Products AC works amazing. No more levers, all controls are done electronically. NEW EPAS. Electric power assist. Yes, this car has electric power steering. No pump, now pulleys, no belts. Just one stand alone motor (its whisper quiet) and it turned a manual steering car into a car that you can drive with one fingerNew long tube headersNew Edelbrock high performance intake manifold650 CFM Edelbrock Carb.New spark plugsNew spark plug wiresNew Transmission coolerElectric fanSecondary micro condensor fan (This car runs cool as a cucumber)New four core aluminum radiatorNew High voltage alternatorNew StarterNew Fuel pumpNewly remanufactured steering box with quicksteerr 15:1 ratioNew magna flow dual exhaust with quad tips The suspension is the original setup but with all new parts New Front and rear Koni shocksNew 1" drop springsRoller perchesRoller idler armNew inner and outer tie rodsNew upper and lower control armsNew center linkNew Pitman armNew 5 leaf leaf springsNew Global West tubularNew gas tank The brakes were replaced but just the pads. The rotors are still in great shape. Front power disc brakes and drum brakes in the rear. Stops on a dime. No shimmy no shakes no funky noises. There is an exhaust leak that I noticed the other day and it could use a good alignment that takes account for non radial tires. Thats a preference of the new owner and i'm just being nit picky and making sure I disclose everything I know about this car.
