You are bidding on a 1985 BMW European model Shark Nose M6 that has been upgraded at the Dinan factory in California with a turbocharger, intercooler, and suspension upgrades that make this car one of the rarest, most desired Shark Nose M6’s available. In addition, the car has a Kenwood stereo with dual sub-woofers, a GPS/Nav system, and satellite radio. This amazing CAR has been estimated at close to 470 horsepower, and handles like no other. The upgrades at Dinan alone cost more that $45,000, less than 2000 miles ago, and I have the original receipts for all of the work that was done. I am the only owner since the upgrades, and have never driven the car hard at all (I am 60 years old). This is a stunning California car that spent all of 2 years in Atlanta, GA, before I moved here to southern California. I bought the car from a California dealer who took ownership of the car from Dinan when the original owner couldn’t come up with the cash to get it out of the shop after the upgrades were complete. The dash had shown some wear due to it’s age and the materials that were used at the time, so I had the dash removed, shipped to, and completely restored at Just Dashes in Van Nuys, California, (www.justdashes.com) with modern materials that will never crack. The seats show wear, but that is the only thing not perfect in the entire car. Speedometer and Odometer work great. Tie rods and struts in great shape. As a German import however, it has no catalytic converter, and thus will not pass inspection in California, which is one of the reasons for the low mileage since I have owned the car. It has been driven lightly but regularly and maintained properly since I have owned it. I am selling the car because of the inability to drive the car here in California, and due to the fact that I have too many cars and not enough space to keep them. California has got to be the worst place in the U.S. to have a collection.
