This car has everything. And it all works perfectly, as befits the most reliable nameplate there is. Gorgeous blond leather everywhere. Fast as hell. Top goes up and down with perfect smootheness. Heated seat (dial setting so you can control how much). Ice-cold a/c. Two convenience outlets. All the original documentation/owners manual. The entire dash panel is hideable behind motorized laquered wood plates, including the built-in nav (which I seldom use because the nav in the stereo is top-notch).
The stereo in this car is epic. It's a Pioneer AVIC-8000NEX and it truly is an amazing piece of machinery. CD player, DVD player, HD radio, SiriusXM, back-up camera, bluetooth that works seamlessly with any phone, the best navigation I've ever used on any car. Let's put it this way: When a song comes on Sirius, the album cover comes on the display. Siriusly. But all of that is almost beside the point. The point is how truly great this thing sounds in every possible mode. Every single speaker was replaced in 2014 with top-of-the line high-end speakers including a Kenwood subwoofer, driven by a Kenwood Excelon amp. I am not a "blast the eardrums" guy but I highly value clear sound at any volume. With this system, all nuances are available at all volumes, even with the top down.
I am intentionally listing this car in Autumn even though I know convertibles sell better in Spring because I want to draw attention to what a great cold-weather rider this guy is. I'm a grown-up and drive like one, and this car has been pampered and garaged its whole life.
This car is virtually flawless, with the only exceptions of a couple ordinary scratches on the driver-side door – nothing worth fretting over and I've tried hard to depict it aptly in the photos, but honestly, they're so minimal that it was hard even to capture in the photos. It is in exceptional shape for an 11-year-old.
I'm throwing in some extras here.
* A brand new "Cool Cap" which will help keep the car not just cool but clean if you park it outside.
* All the old speakers
* The OEM radio (with its cassette player!)
I set no reserve price. I believe in the efficiency of free markets and rely on eBay and its educated buyers to deliver the amount my item is "supposed" to fetch.
One last caveat. I will not ship this car. If you win, you gotta come to Northern New Jersey and take it away. So don't bid if you're not willing/able to do so. A $500 down payment is required within 48 hours of auction end. The remainder is due within a week of auction close, and I'll accept PayPal, certified check, or cash.
