2 owner truck that has been cared for its entire life. 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT 4x4 with its original 351V8 2 barrel and 4 speed granny low transmission. This truck runs, drives and looks awesome. Reach in, hit the key and it's running and ready to go. Has A/C (which just lost its charge but was working fine 2 mos. ago in the hot weather), power steering, power disc brakes, locking hubs. The 4WD works perfectly, locks have the perfect snap when you lock them in, goes through all positions as it should. There is a 3" lift in the truck because it use to run 36" tires which are off now and running smaller tires. Better on gas. There is just about no rust at all on this truck, fenders, rear wheel wells, frame are all perfect. There are two very small soft spots in the floor, one on either side, that could be easily fixed but that's it. They are on either side in the same place so I am figuring a little water must collect there. Everything works as it should, lights, wipers, blinkers, heat. A/C. Emergency Brake etc. I bought this from the guy who has owned it since 1982. Always garaged and well maintained. There are a few paint chips and small spots where the clear has peeled and the lower front grill has a scrap which I took a picture of. It's not mint perfect but looks really really good. This truck is ready to get in and go. The only two things that need to be mentioned, 1st as I said the A/C lost its charge recently ( I will try to get it charged and post if I do) and #2 the drivers window just fell off the regulator which I will also take a look at. Figures when you go to sell something odd things happen. I will try to take care of these items asap and post if I do. Brand new rims, tires and stereo. This truck had the Ziebart rust proofing from factory. I am including the old rims and tires although only one tire is any good. Use as spare. Any questions please ask prior to bidding.
