Up for sale a 1977 Lotus Esprit S1 Beautiful yellow exterior with gray/black cloth Interior. Stored in a temperature controlled warehouse for years. We have started her up couple of months ago, and drove the lotus around the block Always nice to see your neighbors come out with a big smile to have a look. Upon turning over the engine needs to runs on choke for a bit, and then runs fine. Clutch is good, shifts fine. A few new valve gaskets would be recommended in the near future. There is 47k on the odometer, which we believe is the correct mileage for the vehicle and its shape. The vehicle is in sound shape, the fiberglass tub is all original and intact, no signs of any cracks or repairs. All glass in original with no wear. Both doors and bonnets open with no issues. The paint seems to be in good shape. Most likely resprayed at a professional shop by the previous owner. The interior is in really good shape. Has an Aftermarket stereo. Windows work, turn signals and windshield wipers are all operational. Headlights did not pop up, probably something minor. Wheels and tires are in fantastic shape. The aluminum is polished and is very shiny. The spare is in good usable shape as well. Original tools and manuals are inside. We never had a chance to replace the rear bumper cover which has some wear. However will give you a lead to a store where you can get one next to nothing. This is a very unique British sportscar, seen in many movies, car magazines and TV shows. Manufactured from 1976 to 2004, that’s 28 years! All started with Esprit S1. Own a piece of history!
