UP FOR SALE, A 2002 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE OVERLAND!! Up for auction is my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. I am the original owner of this vehicle and it was purchased by me brand new in 2002. The sticker price for this vehicle was over $38,000. This vehicle is red with black carpet and grey leather and suede seats. This vehicle has 213,316 miles on it and the miles were all put on by me and my wife. The majority of these miles are freeway miles as well. The engine still runs strong and the V8 engine can tow a good amount of weight. The engine has never given me any problems at all. I had to replace the radiator in 2013 which was done at the local jeep dealership. The vehicle is equiped with the quadro drive 4 wheel drive system and is perfect for any type of 4 wheel drive situation that is not extreme. We had brand new brakes and tires put on in December of 2014 and they have a lot of life left in them. This is a great vehicle for someone to fix up and use as a commuter car or for a new driver. It is older but when cleaned, it still shines up well and looks pretty. There are a few issues with it (listed below), but the engine runs great. For any vehicle savvy indivudual, some of these issues should be an easy fix. Also I want to note, that this vehicle has never been in an accident. My wife and I drive our cars very gently and because of this, the jeep can run for quite a while longer. Issues: The electrical system of the jeep is starting to glitch a little but the only only issue that I am seeing are that the turn signals are starting to not work. They work half of the time but then they stop working. The drivers side low beam headlight is out and needs to be replaced. All the window power regulators had to be replaced over time. Currently the left back passenger window is not working and is being held up by tape. You can see left over tape on the drivers side and passenger front windows but those regulators have been replaced and the windows work well. The cruise control does not work. The the check engine light is on at the moment due to a sensor issue but the engine is working fine. I have had the vehicle looked at just to make sure and the jeep dealership said the engine is good, and the "check engine light" being on is just a sensor problem. There is a small ding in the wind shield from a rock hitting it but it is not very noticable. It is about the size of a dime. The driver side, side mirror tint is starting to peal off and the mirror is lose and can easily move around. The channel/volume changers on the stearing wheel that are for the radio/stereo do not work anymore due to me installing an after market stereo with XM radio in 2006. But the stereo works and sounds great. The seat warmers work half the time and are not consistent. The passenger side seat warmer gets really hot and can burn your rear...thats what my wife says. I have the clean title for this vehicle in hand and ready to transfer to a new owner. Everything in this listing is as accurate as I can make it and is to the best of my knowledge. This vehicle is being sold as is but amidst the minor problems listed above it is still a great running vehicle. Payment for this vehicle must be made with cash or a cashiers check. An immediate deposit of $200.00 is required threw Paypal unless other arrangements have been made prior to the auction ending.
