This is being relisted because the previous buyer was a dead beat, Non Paying bidders are prosecuted. This is a serious auction for a serious truck. This is an amazingly clean 1988 Suburban. It is a 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive with the heavy rear axel and 4.11:1 posi-traction. The interior is all original and in fantastic shape with the exception of the front bench seat, the seat bottom is faded and deteriorated from the sun but has a nice looking cover. The foam is in excellent shape, but the fabric is weak. The rubber floor is in great shape and shows well. It has new air shocks on the rear and new Gas shocks on the front as well as a complete break job. The wheels are 20" and look great on it with the tires just at 50-60% tread. And with the 2" raised cowl hood it turns heads. The stereo is an aftermarket Jensen CD/MP3 played with aux. input and 1 touch weather station. The transmission is a TH-400 and has been recently serviced with new filter and fluid, it shifts perfectly and goes down the road great. The engine has a real 6500 miles on it as the original 454 exploded at just over 103000 miles I had a 383 stroker professionally built by D & D Performance Machine in Rock Hill, SC. It is a 4 bolt main block with all new SCAT crank, I beam rods and 11:1 pistons, all internally balanced. it has an ISKY RV cam and roller lifters topped with a brand new set of Summit Racing steel Vortec 2.02 heads, a Summit Racing dual plane intake and an Edelbrock Carb. The entire engine including all bolt on external components (Water pump, alternator, balancer, etc.) are new. It is fed with an electric fuel pump and cooled with a new radiator and dual electric fans. It also has new Cyclone headers with true dual exhaust and a pair of nice sounding Flowmaster mufflers. I have driven this truck 6500 miles on the new set up including 2 trips from South Carolina to Syracuse, NY with no issues and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere today. It is solid and strong and with the drivetrain that is in it, it will easily pull a camper or boat or just about anything you would ever want to tow. It has a receiver hitch and a break controller installed and with the long wheelbase it rides extremely comfortable, this truck also has a brand new windshield. The only thing that this truck needs is new AC lines, the ones from the 454 don't line up, but I do have them to go with the truck. Other than that it needs a new owner. I am only selling this truck because my wife thinks that I have too many vehicles. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs.
