No reserve auction. Offered for sale is my very clean 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro, 7 passenger with fold down rear seat and factory rear locking differential. This solid, dry Eastern Oregon Vanagon has only just passed 90,000 miles and still retains all of its original paint. It drives very smooth down the freeway and has plenty of get up and go with its low mileage 2.1 liter engine. No accidents or touch ups done to the body of this vehicle. No rust issues now or ever. You will have a hard time finding a Syncro with a more solid original foundation. This van runs and drives great. Part of the reason it has such low miles is it was parked for the better part of 10 years. This last year I added new 16" Passat wheels with BF Goodrich AT2 tires, giving this van a more aggressive appearance. Along with that the fuel pump was replaced, the motor was removed, a new flywheel seal, some valves, intake boots and some other items were serviced and replaced. Just replaced the front window and seal this week. There are some minor dents and dings on the exterior of the vehicle. Along with the typical rock chips and clearcoat issues on the roof and nose for vehicles of this vintage done in base/clearcoat. The interior is original but could use a couple minor things. The headliner in the back has a small area needing replaced where it was torn. The drivers door panel and long panel could use some gluing and stretching of the vinyl. The roof air conditioning is intact and works but needs to be charged. Clean Oregon title and registration in hand.
