Thank you for viewing my auction. After being disappointed by the other C5 Corvette's out there (both condition wise and price wise) and looking at this one, please feel free to message me. Very rare to find in such excellent, garaged kept condition only driven by one female owner in her mid 60's since new. Her husband and her have owned 14 Corvettes over 31 years and really enjoyed them. This car was a 50th birthday present from her late husband who special ordered it for her as a surprise. It has been in Palm Springs, CA since new, and always garaged, hand washed and waxed by her. A machine car wash or machine buffer has never touched this car. Absolutely everything works as it should. No odd noises, smells, vibrations, or issues. Heads up display works like it should, antennae goes up and down like it is supposed to, no check engine lights, suspension lights, or TPMS failure lights on, etc. No farting speakers. EVERYTHING works like it should. It goes down the road straight as an arrow with no pulling or rattles. Stunning color combination. Maintenance done (as well as preventative maintenance) always before ever needed!! All body panels are original, with no paintwork or issues ever. Fully loaded with power windows, locks, trunk, mirrors, fog lights, Original Premium Sound Bose Stereo with CD (with additional OEM 12 disc OEM changer in trunk), Sport seats, Heads Up Display, cruise control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, Twilight Sentinel, leather wrapped steering wheel, duel power seats, pretty much power everything. Options and codes listed further below in listing. Tires are like new and maintenance all up to date. Only synthetic fluids used since new. No check engine lights, dash warning lights illuminated, or any issues, of any kind. None of the emblems or trim is faded or delaminating like most. Original owners manuals, case, and all handouts, both keys and remotes, and every maintenance record in a 3" folder. No dings or scratches in the beautiful body. Hand washed and dried weekly since new and waxed at least once per month when in use, even when driven little. She has never had a detail shop touch this car, or a machine car wash. Always hand washed and waxed by her! Gorgeous Sebring Silver Metallic Clear Coat paint which looks wet when dry. Look at all the reflections in the beautiful paint in the pictures below. Pride of ownership shows in every aspect of this immaculate, luxury sports car. It drives like a dream and gets 30+ MPG on the open roads with its powerful 345 HP LS1 V8 engine engine mated to a 4 speed 4L60E automatic transmission which was just rebuilt and upgraded this month with new torque convertor at a cost of $2250 and has a 3 year, unlimited mileage warranty by my transmission shop that I have used for 20 years that has been building automatic transmissions for 42 years!!  No modifications at all to car. Transmission was not bad, I just chose to having it upgraded as I know they were prone to failure and I did not like the way it shifted into 3 and 4th gear which is a tragic common factory flaw with these transmissions and corrected on this one. Any automatic Vette you look at from 97-04 will have issues unless the upgrades are done like on this one. Never hot rodded, never had a tuner, air intake, cut up wiring, or aftermarket exhaust etc. All stock and not messed with. This cream puff is only being sold as she had a hip replacement and had me find a Mustang convertible for her which is easier for her to get in and out of. This has always been a second car (not a daily driver, sitting in parking lots while shopping, rain, etc), and always garaged, but driven at least once a week since new to keep all seals lubricated. Beware of ones with super low miles that have sat for months or years at a time with out being started or driven. This car has averaged just over 3900 miles per year to keep everything fresh and lubricated and Carfax suggests it is worth $2540 over the $18.975 NADA blue book value, also not accounting for the 1 owner status, the records, the maintenance, the garage kept babied status, upgraded transmission, and all the options this car has that NADA doesn't account for. This Corvette Convertible is a better price and cleaner, with less miles over all the other Corvette Convertible's out there where you are most likely buying someone else's problems, or getting a car from the rust belt. Don't miss this car, You will never find another like it!   This immaculate Corvette Convertible was purchased new on February 29th, 2000 (lucky leap year as she calls it!!) at O'Brian Chevrolet here in the Palm Springs area (Cathedral City...next city over) by her late husband to surprise her for her 50th birthday. He took her for dinner, had the car delivered to their favorite restaurant and presented her with the keys after dinner in a wrapped box handed to her by the waiter. Car was in the parking lot with a bow on it. Husband was retired military so was able to title it in Oregon (for tax reasons) at their vacation home while keeping the car registered and stored in their garage in Palm Springs, CA, where the car has resided it's whole life at their home here. Car has never been out of CA! The two of them have been the only owners and drivers of this car since new and absolutely babied it! He passed away 3 years ago and she kept driving and enjoying it until her hip replacement earlier this summer. It has always been treated like a member of the family as she puts it. No leaks, seaps, knocks, or odd noises of any kind. Interior looks and smells like new! Seats periodically treated with leather conditioner and has had seat covers on it since new. Exterior only hand washed and waxed by her. Smooth power, transmission shifts perfectly, no overheating even in 110+ degree heat!! Car needs nothing. Paint is like glass. You will not find a nicer, immaculate, no worry Corvette Convertible for this price!! She had specialty car insurance on it with an agreed value of $30K and it is only $412 per year for full coverage. It starts right up and sounds great! Engine oil, oil filter, all fluids, and air filter are all recent. She never skimped on maintenance or quality on this car. Tires are all are around 85% and all matching brand Sumitomo ZR rated. Wheels are original and in great shape, even backsides of them have been periodically cleaned and waxed!! Many original markings on the immaculate underside, which has been detailed frequently since new (by her on my lift!!). I have known her for years and respect how well she has babied this car. Look at the incredible original exhaust!! Registration is good until Febuary, 2016. Car needs nothing at all. As stated earlier, transmission already upgraded at a cost of $2250 this month with 3 year unlimited mile warranty. Do not buy one of these with an automatic transmission that has not been upgraded, or it will cost you thousands very soon!! In my 20 years in the Mustang business, I have rarely seen, owned, or driven a nicer, well maintained, immaculate vehicle! Most would mistake this car for a brand new one if they didn't know the body style changes. I have owned over 1000 Mustangs, Shelby's, Big Block's, Boss's, Pantera's, Saleen's, Roush's, Cobra's. Lightning's etc, mostly collector models, and rarely see a vehicle (of ANY type) that is 15 years old and still looks and drives like new. Interior even still smells new. Cigarette lighter never used. Nothing leaks, drips, or seeps. It is very easy to drive and maneuver. This car gets 30+ MPG on the freeway with ease. It starts the first time, EVERY time. It idles smoothly and does not smoke. No misses or hesitations. Original seat belts are excellent. Factory interior buttons look like new. None of the original silk screening has worn off anything inside. Climate control display has no wear and all illuminations and displays work perfectly. You simply can NOT find another like this. This is a one in a million Corvette Convertible, hands down!   Underside, and engine box kept clean since new as is the exterior and interior. Carpet is immaculate and original floor mats are like new. Seats look great too. No holes or unraveling anywhere on the original carpeting. Never been smoked in. Still has new car smell. Just look at the pictures, they really explain this Corvette Convertible, hands down, better than I can. A/C is ice cold, and heat hot. A/C is colder than any car I have ever driven. Even on 110+ days here in Palm Springs, CA, after 5-6 minutes, I have to turn the A/C to a higher temperature, unlike all my other vehicles, which will not freeze you like this car! Everything on this amazing Corvette Convertible works. No squeaks or rattles.  Only flaws at all on this car that I can find or think of is there is a few wear spots on the original convertible cloth top from putting it up and down and a few minor chips that have been touched up. Car had a clear bra on it most if its life that was just recently removed as it was starting to peel, but protected the paint amazingly.  Paint and body lines are absolutely beautiful. No chips or scratches on all the original glass. It is a very classy, sporty, no worry car that will bring years of enjoyment to you.  Vehicle is available for inspection and can be shipped anywhere.
