Great winter project for someone other than me. I've cataloged all the parts, bought some new ones parts, rebuilt a few other parts, and now I'm unable to restore my 1978 BMW R100S airhead 1000CC motorcycle. Snowflake wheels are in very good condition. No dents on tank or fenders. Paint in good condition but faded. Frame in great condition, recently frame ceramic painted. Clymer's book included. Seat needs recovered. Tires, battery, brake pads, etc. needed. About 60K miles on engine and transmission, not started in 16 years. Clock and Ampmeter missing. I purchased the bike more than 16 years ago, rode it home, parked it, winterized it, then didn't touch it until last winter. I'm retired and some changes have limited my ability to complete the project. YOUR GAIN!! Will deliver for 50 cents a mile as distant as 500 miles from Baltimore or you can come and pick it up.
