Very solid floors and frame. I put in some pictures of the floors to show that with just alittle cleaning up underneath you could paint the underneath with some black paint to make it look very neat. The outside has mostly original chrome with the exception of some recent wheel opening moldings and a rear bumper that was somewhat recently replaced. The car had a partial right side quarter panel in the past. The rest of the body looks decent. Not perfect but clean. I don't see any rust bubbles anywhere. I think it could shine more but could maybe stand to be buffed not sure, or paint it for perfection. Body isn't perfect either but looks pretty solid. The inside also shows ok but not perfect either. It does have a fairly recent blue headliner. Sorry, just a realist ! This is a great car for someone that doesn't want to spend that 20,000 dollars that some people out there are asking. I put a cheap "Buy it Now" so someone can get into an entry level chevelle Big Block at an affordable price !!! If you are anal or looking for a show car I suggest you look elsewhere. This is just a fun cruise night car you can get a ton of thumbs up with. And you can't miss hearing it as it sounds AWESOME out the back. This is a toy I bought earlier this year and drove on a transport plate so I never registered it. I do have the title and bill of sale that I got with the car that was just signed and handed to me so you can get plates with that. This is not a show car. Just a fun car that drives very decent. The motor has what looks to be a casting number of 3969854 which in my book shows as a 1970 396 motor. It starts great hot or cold and sounds great. There are no knocks and runs very smooth. It sounds GREAT thru the flowmaster dual exhaust. The car also has a separate oil pressure gauge under the dash that shows real good oil pressure. It also has Power steering and Power Disc front brakes. The transmission I can only guess must have been rebuilt at one time before as it shifts very nice and very firm. It feels good and strong when you drive the car. The car has a nice heater that works well as do the wipers and I believe all the outside light work. What I see that is inop is the horn and the stereo works but doesn't make sound, maybe a speaker issue. I have no history of the car before me. The miles show 15,464 that I can only assume has been over with the age of the car. As usual selling as is . I would encourage anyone come inspect the vehicle or I believe ebay offers an affordable inspection service for piece of mind.
