There comes a point in life when you have too many cars, and not enough time to enjoy them all.My rule, handed down from my dad, is that if you don't drive it for more than a year, let someone else enjoy it, so here it is. 1930 Ford Model A Standard RoadsterOriginal 4 cylinder, numbers matching, 6V system, rebuilt generator, working perfectly Rebuilt & correct Zenith carburetor and distributor, original style Champion spark plugs,Fuel tank has been removed and sealed, new filter and shut-off valve installed Full restoration was performed many years ago, 30+. The Model A is done in lacquer, and has aged beautifully, with a great patina. Pin-stripes are hand painted to match wheels. Original rod-actuated braking system, rebuilt with new shoes. Stops remarkably well, and very straight. Leather interior is very nice and soft, showing age wrinkles but no pulls or tears The canvas top functions as it should, all the irons are straight and aligned. All the fasteners are intact, only 2 small tears (1/2 inch above the mirror bracket)California Car Cover, flannel lined, custom fit cover will be included with the sale. If you want a perfect car, without flaws, you're welcome to purchase a freshly restored vehicle for thousands more than I'm asking. My Model A is an honest car. It was done right, 30 years ago, and has aged beautifully.It's a real head-turner.
