Vehicle Detail

I believe it is a 1972 vehicle but know it is early as it has the 250cc motor and not the later 350cc. The motor was rebuilt the last couple of years the kids used it which was about 2007. Since then it has been used intermittently on occasional trips to the desert and in our cul-de-sac at home when we have had children friendly barbecues. Each time I have just flushed the tank, put in new fuel and it starts up. It has not been run for about a year now so I would suggest doing the tank flush before using it. I added an after market exhaust which gives it about 10 hp more so it motors around just fine........but tell the kids it will be bumpy....no suspension. I also bought a new seat and replaced the fenders which is why they are black but the two tone kinda sets it off nicely. Although the red plastic body is faded you will see one picture of the front foot well area that is shiny red. I found an empty armor all bottle and managed to squeeze out a few drops and it came up nice as you can see. I also replaced the lights and added an electric start but I imagine it will most likely need a new battery. I also replaced the rear axle with a later model so the rear wheel base is a few inches wider. I have done other maintenance as necessary but nothing special, mainly just a service and checking and replacing any suspicious looking parts before a trip. I do not promise, but I did have the webbing for the sides but cannot seem to locate them. If I come across them they will also go with the vehicle. I have no title as my friend kept telling me he would get it but he had misplaced it and never followed through, but I have owned it since November 2003 and have his bill of sale along with mine. I was never personally concerned as we used it on acreage we owned in Mojave so it was never an issue. To summarize it's a super fun toy that runs great and the winning bidder (or their kids) will have a blast........might make a great Christmas present for one of those spoiled brats out there somewhere. As usual I have no reserve as I am old school and that's the way I do it. You may get lucky, or you may have to pay what it's worth. Any questions, call Terry at (424) 903-5326.
