SUPER RARE 1969 Camaro X33 Z/28 302 CROSSRAM Intake. This car is 1 of ONLY 209 ever delivered from the factory with the legendary Winters Foundry CROSSRAM air Intake manifold!! These intakes were ordered with the car, came in the trunk and the dealers assembled them upon delivery. Because of insurance/horsepower concerns GM would not make these an actual option from the factory. But thankfully a way around this was found.  This car comes with the features and options found on a 1969 Z/28 302 "Mouse Motor" but with the sought after features of the CROSSRAM;  Two 585 cfm 4 barrel Holley Carburetors (part # 3941130 top -- 3941126 bottom) 465hp, 365 lb-ft at 5600 rpm Fiberglass ZL Cowl Hood NO hood springs Disc brakes on ALL FOUR WHEELS  F41 special purpose front & rear suspension  M22 4 speed "Rockcrusher" manual transmission P9T30C (P=Muncie, 9=1969, T=Dec 30th, C=M22) 12 bolt positraction rearend 4.10 ratio Crossflow exhaust system Ccorrect "spiral" shocks  8000 rpm tachometer  Center console with gauges Woodgrain steering wheel Delco AM pushbutton radio  Z21 style trim package  Front and rear spoilers Space saver spare with inflater  15x7 rally wheels Goodyear Polyglas tires This car will absolutely draw a crowd whether deservedly at the race track or parked on the street at a car show. I have driven this Trans-Am track inspired beast to two shows this summer and it is a wild riding, high rpm screamer!! Once the rpms get over 3000...WATCH OUT...you are about to be launched! The high rpm 302, when married with the crossram, will pull away from most other big block engines. Because of the lighter weight, these machines were able to gain an edge with traction off the line and pull away from heavier engines with greater horsepower. Better traction and the ability to wind up the torque at high rpms will create huge gaps between you and others. By third and fourth gear you will see a gap most others won't be able to make up for. This is a period date correct Camaro.
