This 2006 mustang received a power-plant upgrade in 2011 (40,000 miles ago). The Motor / Transmission / ECU and associated parts were replaced with GT parts from two very low-mileage salvaged mustangs. The vehicle has been used as my daily driver since new, and has served me very well. With a second child on the way...it is time for me to get something larger. The pictures show how great the car looks, you will certainly be happy with it. The car looks great for its age and I have ensured it received consistent oil changes and other preventative maintenance. All factory controls and equipment work as expected, including A/C, Cruise Control, Power windows / locks / seats, etc. This is your opportunity to get the power of a GT for the value of a V6! The drive-train swap was completed utilizing all factory GT parts, with the following exceptions: 1) Flywheel upgraded to a brand new aluminum lightweight model 2) Clutch upgraded to a brand new SPEC Stage 3+ 3) Mufflers were upgraded to Ford Racing Stingers (Nice rumble, but doesn't wake the neighbors) 4) Intake was upgraded to a Ford Racing CAI kit 5) The rear differential was upgraded to a Ford 8.8 Rear with factory-installed 3.73s (purchased from NewTakeOff.com) 6) The springs were replaced with Ford Racing 1" lowering springs The new parts/service purchased at my local Ford Dealer to complete the swap include: 1) GT Air Conditioning Lines 2) GT Fuel Lines 3) GT Power Steering Lines 4) GT Coolant Lines 5) Anti-Theft programming and A/C flush/fill The vehicle includes an SCT X-Cal II device with a performance (93) tune as well as an inspection tune. The inspection tune allows the vehicle to pass NJ and other state inspections. If needed, the vehicle can also be returned to stock programming using the included tuner. For the rest of the car: Suspension/Tires/Brakes - Struts/Shocks upgraded to Tokiko D-Spec adjustable replacements (about 50k miles ago) - Springs upgraded to Ford Racing 1" lowering springs (2011) - Upper and lower control arms replaced with J&M performance parts. Upper is adjustable, lowers are fixed. (2011) - Tires are Nitto NT-555s all around. The tires are a few years old, probably have about one year left. - Upgraded to slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads a few years ago, not sure of the date. Stereo - Radio was upgraded to a Pioneer AVIC x910bt, with Bluetooth / iPod / Navigation / SD / etc. I can also include the factory radio if you want it. - Wires are run and hooked to the radio for 6 channels (Front / Rear / Sub). Currently using a 4-channel amp powering the front and rear speakers. There is no sub-woofer in the car at this time. - Front and rear speakers upgraded to Alpine R-series 6.5" component speakers It is highly encouraged that you take the time to visit the vehicle in person.
