1962 Full Custom Lincoln Continental Full Custom Continental, the car has been completely restored from top to bottom. The restoration has a little over 2k miles on it. The car runs and drives great with no issues at all. The tires, wheels, interior, body, paint are in excellent shape. Everything mechanically has been gone through,.The motor was rebuilt from top to bottom ($7500.00) and if you know these lincolns thats always the weak point. All the brakes, steering, wheel bearings everything has been gone through. Has a full custom stereo with custom built center counsels with 2 tis and a custom box with 2 15" kicker subs. All the work was done professionally by a certified mechanics and well known shops. The car is reliable, all the little bugs of a fresh restoration have been fixed and you could take this car anywhere. BODY AND PAINT The body was stripped down to bare metal and painted with a metallic root beer color. All the chrome and stainless was either re chromed or polished out (as you can see in the pics). All the bumpers ands trim in in excellent condition. The undercarriage on the car was blasted, undercoated and sealed . All the dirt and grime from over 50 years was removed and cleaned. Theres no dents or dings the car is laser straight. The body and paint was almost 12K after it was all said and done. Its a quality paint job and the pictures don't do it justice. I would say its a 10 out of 10. Interior The interior was all replaced, headliner, seats, foam, carpet, trunk everything. Its in perfect condition, no rips or tears. As you can see in the pics its in excellent condition as well. The seats are very comfortable. SUSPENSION Its on air ride front and rear, all firestone bags, with 2 5 galling chrome tanks and compressors. The compressors only come on when the car is running so you don't have to worry about them killing your battery. The rear leaf springs were replaced with links for the air bags. The car is not cut up at all and was all done professionally as you can see in the pics. Below is a video of the air bags functioning showing there is no issues at all. The brakes were gone through with all new pads and drums at the time of restoration as well as a new master. It stops good with no issues. Power Train The motor was completely gone through, new pistons, bearings, seals, all new gaskets. The car does not leak one bit of oil. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time. I put a aftermarket ignition system on it , new fuel pump, wiring , everything. The car doesn't over heat, leak , it has no issues. It has a yellow top optima battery, everything else was built to stock specs. Below is a video of the car running and a walk around shot. It was converted over to r134a for the ac as well. it is a rare and solid rust free car, your not going to find another one like it around, I get complements every where I go in it.
