You are bidding on a 2007 Volkswagen GTI Golf with DSG transmission and 160,xxx miles. I pulled the oil pan and found some very small metal bits in it. I believe this is due to the TSI engine cam follower issue, with the cam starting to come apart. I read a lot on the forums and some people have had luck changing the cam and flushing out the engine. Other people have just replaced the engine. The car still drives under it's owner power. It sounds a little raspy but the new owner should be able to drive it to your final destination if you were going to change the engine. If you were going to work on it, you may want to trailer itI don't have the garage space or the necessary tools for this kind of repair. This was the best car I have ever owned. I plugged in my vagcom and the oil pressure and engine condition are good enough for a trip home (or trailer).
