Real good condition especially for it's age. The bike is a collectors item with 5220 original miles. The bike must go since I'm moving and I don't have a place to keep a second vehicle. I can't think of anything that isn't stock on this bike other than the mirrors. Everything other than the gas gauge works so you can start it and ride it to anywhere you'd like. I'm sure you could shine it up and keep it in a garage without putting more miles on it and sell it for a boatload more come next spring, but I'm hoping someone who wants to ride it gets it. Whether you owned one before or you just like the look of the 4 exhaust pipes or the sweet look of the metal bracket showing off the floating rear suspension, it's a great bike and you can spot it instantly among the majority of other bikes that don't have anything that make them stand out. I bought a digital copy of the factory manual when I first got the bike and I'd be happy to include that with it and a couple gaskets that I haven't needed. The carbs were cleaned and I installed new pilot jets two months ago and that's when the pictures are from and since then I rode about 30 miles. Also, instead of selling it by itself, and making an extra couple bucks, I picked up a brand new stator a while back and I'll include that so you can have a backup in case you ever need it. Btw, the regulator/rectifier is brand new and that part and the stator are usually the only problems anyone ever has with these bikes. Other than that, these bikes are known for running forever and there is a ton more miles left in this bike. The 1983 Gs550L is a rare bike, but parts are still easily had and because of import taxes that year, Suzuki listed them as a 550cc instead of the actual 572cc. It's stock, it looks good, it has very, very low miles, it's a rare collectors item that you can turn the key on and go. Maybe you can tell I'm a tad upset that I have to let it go, but that's why I'm hoping it's going to go to someone who will enjoy it!!!! They were thoroughly cleaned and the pilot jets were replaced. The carbs are back on the bike and I rode about 30 miles since then.
