Vehicle Detail
Wow, this is painful, but I'm doing it. I'm selling my baby. Here it goes. 2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 7.3L Powerstroke diesel. This thing is fully loaded with many updates. I'm going to start out by saying I'm in rust free dry country of western Kansas. I will try to list everything, but there's a lot so see all the pictures. It has power locks, power windows, power heated TOW mirros (not your rinky dink passenger vehicle mirros), power driver seat, heated seats, keyless entry, cruise, tilt wheel, luxury leather all the way around, updated radio for easy use with any iphone, ipod, mp3 player, bluetooth and handsfree phone calls through the radio speakers, sirius xm with the new features to pause and rewind any station you're listening to, cd's if you still have them, USB drive to charge or connect to devices, front and rear A/C and heat controls, compass, outside temp, average mileage cpu, miles to empty cpu, etc, additional accessory power points in the front and the factory power point at the far rear giving you all kinds of options for running inverters, etc for anything from entertainment systems for the kids to tailgate accessories at the ballgame, the edge juice programmer (if you're not familiar with this, look it up, it's great and gives you better mileage and towing options, not to mention the additional customizable guages to monitor just about anything and everything on the vehicle), a customized and tuned cobra CB radio that's great for long road trips when there's bad traffic or an accident ahead of you, break controller for trailers if you pull anything (I pulled my gator around with it on occasion). It has the factory cab lights on it ordered and installed through Ford (Excursions didn't come with that option). Weathertech floormats all around, front, middle, rear, and cargo. Weathertech window visors. Ranch Hand full front bumper replacement grill guard. updated front shocks to dual front shocks to help support the weight of the diesel engine along with the bumper and improved ride, MBRP turbo back full 5" exhaust. If I missed something on here, please see the photos, and don't hesitate to ask me any questions about features, etc. Mechanically, this thing is immaculate. 125k miles with any and all services/updates done. On the bulletproof 7.3, this thing is barely broke in. It has two brand new interstate batteries (the best on the market). It's had the front end, rear end, and transmission serviced at 100k miles. it's fresh off a service and complete detail job. I had it serviced every 5k miles without a miss or overage. It has brand new brakes and rotors on it. The air intake was updated to Ford's newer OEM design on the 7.3 for better airflow and easier filter changes than the old design. Again, the exhaust is done for better breathing. It has the heavy 10 ply LT tires on it. The hancook tires are some of the best you can get and are in great shape with a lot of miles to go on them. The edge programmer on here let's me get 20 mpg when driven sensibly. I've never gotten below 16 mpg. For the largest SUV ever mass produced, that's really good, especially when 8 grown men can ride comfortably and still have room for all their luggage in the back. The updated dual shocks on the front end give it a great ride. The bad...there is none! lol. It is a used vehicle. Yes, it is in excellent condition inside and out, but I don't want to hide anything. As you can see in the pictures, there are just a few very small chips in the paint, and I mean a very few. I think I counted just two. There is a small scratch at the passenger rear. There is also a small chip on the windshield. It's been there for years and never cracked or expanded, but it's there. It has a rubberized underbody coating on it, but it is slowly starting to wear off. If you're in salt/rust country, having it touched up or redone wouldn't be a bad idea. Look the pictures over good. If there's something you want a closer picture of or different angles, etc, just ask along with any other questions because I have tons more photos, but it's only letting me post the 24. We all know how hard to find these fully loaded Excursions with the 7.3's are, especially with the black and tan color scheme. With that said, it is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction early. If you want to come out to look at it, you're more than welcome. Message me and we can make arrangements/get you directions. 785-six five six-2238.
