Reluctantly offered for sale, my very rare in the USA 1986 Japanese-built Toyota Camry TURBO DIESEL sedan. This 47K mile car is an all original, meticulously maintained, one owner car and purchased by me. The gentleman's family that was the original owner said It was used minimally in its nearly thirty years of being enjoyed - and never in the winter. I have driven the car aproxx. 1000 miles to make sure it was a good runner.. All maintenance, service and adjustments have been done with the intention of keeping this car, including: ALL fluids changedALL filters changedCleaned and serviced injectorsNew beltsComplete and professional chassis inspection for brakes, suspension, exhaust problems and repair as neededA/C service - blows ice cold The car is incredibly clean, solid and nice with the normal small bumps and bruises that you'd expect from a car that's been enjoyed for nearly three decades, but still looks great from five feet away! The interior is nearly perfect with no rips or tears in the upholstery and no cracks in the dash. The door cards are perfect as well. It still has the original radio and all the knobs and dials are there and intact. The underbody of the car is also very clean as one would expect from a car with less than 50K original miles. I have the original windowsticker,paperwork,etc. Extra oil filters will go with the car. I feel i have been as honest as possible by showing good detailed photos. The engine starts easily, and idles nicely, even when cold. The car runs VERY well, with good power (thanks, turbo!!) and the three-speed Aisan-Warner automatic gearbox shifts crisp and clean. Overall, this car is very nearly new - and with the indestructible Toyota diesel engine in it, has a LOT of driving enjoyment left in it for the avid collector of rare cars - or just someone who appreciates good engineering.
