Up for auction is a Ford F350 4 Door Crew Cab, 7.3 Diesel 6 speed Manual transmission very unique with a low gear. This truck was a Los Angeles Fire Department was one of their paramedics fleet, it is a F350 but has the heavy duty frame and also the rear end not to compare to the regular f350 since this truck was built for official used the truck has many extras than a regular truck, it has two alternators, wider frame, heavy duty rear end with the heavy duty leaf springs, still has the strobe lights on the rear and on the front side fenders. I originally purchase the truck to make it into a tow truck or a tow rig, because of the heavy duty suspension and frame it was a perfect donor to turn into a tow rig, but I had a diesel vanbox truck that I resent trade in for a flat bed tow truck, so I decided not to turn this truck into a tow truck. It will be a good truck for someone to make it, into a quick money making business, Road Side Tire Change for semi trucks or make it into a tow rig to pull a big car carrier or as simple as a mobile Mechanic it has all the compartment needed for a compressor, generator and all your parts plus your tools, this is a very nice utility bed totally different than a regular utility bed you see all day long on the road, this bed has deep compartments even a rear compartment that measures 7 feet deep there is also a compartment on one side that two normal adults can fit and the door can close with no problem, one section has a compartment with lots of drawers to hold all your tools, some of them are cover with stainless steel, it is also perfect for a plumbing business. the truck runs good, clutch and transmission are in good conditions, the truck should drive anywhere as it is, I drove the truck 245 miles one way when I got it drove and handle very good it does not smoke at all, the truck sat for 4 years when I got it I put two batteries when I got it, I crank the truck the fist time and did not start the second time as I started the truck I press the fuel pedal and started right away had it running for 30 minutes shut the engine off and turn it on with no problems, well it seems like every time only the first time on the day when I start the truck I press the gas pedal and starts, all the day is ok it will start with no problem and after a few minutes warm up it drives and runs good, I was told that it could be a pressured sensor or the glow plugs need to be replacing I got use too the truck that it did not bother me to press the pedal one time a day when I ever drove the truck, I am mentioning this so if you buy the truck if you want to get it fix you can look into it. I have looked up on youtube and it mentions is ether the glow plugs one of the two sensors. But the truck is drivable if you are thinking on driving it back home it has a strong motor and transmission it should drive anywhere in the US inland States. Keep in mind that the utility box alone is worth 2500 to 3500 this is what some regular utility used beds sell for, if you are thinking on changing the bed you can used this bed as your mini tool box have all your garage tools on one box. Or whatever your imagination takes you. I am going to list the truck with a low reserve just what I have invested on the truck so someone can get a good deal. Good luck on bidding
