This Bmw has been in my family since 1996. It has always been a second or third car and driven very little. Always insured with collectors insurance, makes it very affordable for a weekend car. The odometer has not worked since we owned the car, as almost all of these cars. And by the way when federalized as this is a grey market full power euro car, The speedometer with odometer has to be switched to a mph format not kilometers as it came with from the factory. Therefore do not rely on odometer to be original on any of these cars. This car was fully and professionaly rebuilt when we acquired this car. We have not put over twenty thousand miles since the rebuild most likely half of that. changed the oil every year based on age not miles. These are the original seats and pedal covers, Its your guess as to total mileage. Car runs great, has never skipped a beat. Does not use any oil, passes CA smog which as any Californian knows can not be accomplished easily on these vintage rides unless it is in good working order. This is a CA car without rust issues!!! New heavy duty bilstein struts all the way around a few years back. This car has a great body! The paint could use a buff, but is presentable and still shiny, repainted about 15 years ago. I am heavily involved in aircooled VW currently and I am buried in projects. This car needs to be driven and appreciated as much as I use to be in to it. Driven about four times this year.
