You are looking at a 1957 Ford Thunderbird. I recently dragged this car out from where its been sitting for many years. The car was originally a 312 245 horse power 4V Carb automatic trans car. The colors where originally a Starmist Blue body with a Colonial White hard top, which the original body color you can see breaking through the black paint. The interior was originally Med.Blue/Lt.Blue, which some of the original colors are still there, like around the interior of the hardtop, and on the steering wheel. The car was originally from New Hampshire , then brought down to Florida. The engine that is in it now is a re-manufacturer 292 engine that has a VIN plate stamp to the front of the engine block, see picture. I was unable to turn over the engine, so I went ahead and took out the plugs and field the engine with blaster lubricant. The car will need towed, and she does roll and steer. The tires are old and so far are holding air but I do not know for how long. The car does have rust and will need a total restoration, see all under carriage pictures in the slideshows. Car is titled in my name with a new FL title that matches the VIN plate. There are extra parts, including some of the trim that's not on the car. The rear bumper was not on the car when I picked it up. I went ahead and lightly bolted this rear bumper to the car for transportation.
