1970 Triumph Bonneville

1970 Triumph Bonneville T120R T120 650cc - Correct Restoration Don Hutchinson Bike is in overall very good shape and is numbers matching. This bike was restored in the 90s by Garry Chitwood and sold by him in 1994. It appears to be a very correct restoration using all original parts and finishes. The engine was rebuilt and has only 164 miles on it, as the speedometer was turned back when bike was restored. Previous owner had the tins painted with correct Don Hutchinson paint and they are very nice. The only modifications on the bike are the Bushman's modification on the carburetors which allows for easy cleaning of the pilot jet and the installation of an oil filter that can be reversed if need be. Pazon electronic ignition has been installed, but I have the original parts. Some of the chrome is starting to show some light speckling and a couple of very small bubbles from being an east coast bike, but it is still presentable. I have tried to picture the bad areas. Bike starts very easily when cold and does not have excessive valve noise. It is a very good rider and all gears work well. All lights are functioning, as well as the gauges. Rear speedometer drive has been replaced, but I have the original. I do have the original grab rail that has some pitting on the metal, but a reproduction is included as well.
