Very cool all steel Henry Ford F1 street rod truck with 19,000 miles on the build with 3,900 miles on the current rebuilt drivetrain. Professionally built in the Midwest in 2002 and has been updated several times since then. The truck has a detailed rebuilt 1986 Chevy 4.3l with 1981 229 (3.8l) heads and a 1981 Chevy 350 turbo trans. Great sitting truck that has very little bonds and no filers. The engine is chromed out and has new valve covers and gaskets. New starter, alternator, MSD ignition, oil accumulator/primer, plugs, wires, K&N air filter, etc. Some other new parts.......new alum. fuel tank (from No Limit Engineering), 4-core radiator, ball joints (upper and lower), electric fan, power steering rack, trans cooler, hoses, brakes ( including lines, pads, valves, master cylinder), chrome Summit Racing smoothie wheels, exhaust, too many other parts to list here. Front disc and rear drum brakes. Front clip is AMC Pacer (yes, there are many places to get parts for these). Original rear with 3.92 gears and all new bushings, gaskets and oil installed 6 mos ago. Tires are all good without any plugs and have plenty of tread left. Custom interior with power tinted windows, wipers, power antenna (not hooked up to radio currently), new digital audio stereo (needs installed) with aux input for iPad/iPod and other radio sources. El Camino tilt column. Spare tire behind seat, new Optima battery, battery tender installed, new speedometer. Bed wood was just re-stained/sealed this past winter and all stainless hardware installed. Emergency brake is installed and operational. Hi-lo beams work as well as all other electrical. The body is straight and both doors fit nice and tight. Frenched in power antenna, door handles shaved and are released by pulling a tab at the bottom of the door. All electrical circuits are on circuit breakers. All lights work. PA inspected. Clear PA title in hand. The truck is located in Johnstown, PA. In all fairness and full disclosure, I am listing all known issues/problems.......The lake pipes are active and capped off. There is a slight vibration noise at higher rpm's that comes and goes during quick starts (not a constant noise). It just needs a flex joint installed. The speedometer I just installed does not work. I put a new sender on it as well, so I think I just have it wired incorrectly. If I get time, I will look at it and post any updates. The truck did not have a tailgate on it when I got it, but I do have one installed on the truck and it is primered, just needs the color applied. The paint on the truck is not high end show quality, but is much better than driver quality. I have included the pics of a few areas that I wanted to point out. I did not mind it because I got this truck to run it and not to show it. This is a great truck and a lot of fun to drive. Runs cool and straight down the road without any pulling or shimmy. You won't be disappointed with this truck. Just needs to be finished to be a top ride. I have hundreds of pics of this great truck, just ask me what you want to see and I will forward them over.
