Vehicle Detail

1984 Chrysler Lebaron Town & Country Convertible Up for sale is a fine, classic 80's icon, the 1984 Chrysler Lebaron Town & Country Convertible with wood grain panels. I purchased this vehicle two years ago and it served as a reliable daily driver ever since. Mechanically the vehicle is sound. The original engine was the most cutting edge and most powerful option for the model, the 2.6 L Mitsubishi G54B I4. The carburetor housing has been switched out but my mechanic still has the original. Manual transmission. I have two brand new door handles which I have yet to install, they are included. The radio and cassette player works great. I still have the original factory radio in the box, which I will include. The A/C blows nice and cold. Power seats, power windows, power top works great. All lights function fine and of course this Lebaron is equipped with the digital dash which means it does have the classic Electronic Voice Alert (EVA) and yes, it works. Useful digital phrases such as "A door is ajar!" and "Don't forget your keys!" consistently remind you when your doing something wrong. I've heard rumors that there's a button you could press somewhere in the glove compartment that could switch the male voice to a female voice. I have not been able to locate that button...pfffft, women. As far as the negative aspects, there a couple of dents on the hood, thanks to the neighborhood kids. The wood grain is a bit faded. The Chrysler hood ornament was removed (thanks to the neighborhood kids), I still have it though. The center armrest was missing when I purchased the car. The digital dash functions great but the odometer is exempt and the gas gauge can be a bit vague. Although the top and all the windows work great, the driver side window is jammed and the leather door strap came loose. The reasoning for my selling the car is that I never use it. I've worked at the same office for nearly five years and I live less than a mile away, I always just walk to and from work so the car just sits there gathering dust. Whenever I do decide to use it, I have to give a jump, so it sits for even longer periods of time. It's a great car and I don't want it to rot due to under use.
