Thank you! 2004 JAGUAR XJ8 Please read the complete description below I am pleased to offer this 2004 Jaguar XJ8 with only 94000 miles. I will do a very objective description so please read closely. POWERTRAIN: This Jaguar is powered by a 4.2 liter V8 that produces 290 horsepower. This transmission is a 6 speed ZF unit German, you can expect highway mileage to be in the high twenties unless you go over 80 mph it then will fall to the mid-twenties. In town stop light to stop light should be no worse than 17 mpg. If you are not doing this or better then you need to adjust your driving habits. There are no powertrain issues. The check engine light is on and it has not been fault coded. BODY AND PAINT: I have not done a Carfax but I did not see any former accident damage. All of the body lines are correct and no miss matched paint. Paint quality is excellent except for the top of the trunk and center of the roof. This is sun fade only as this Jaguar came from New Mexico. INTERIOR: Very nice leather, no broken seams or tears. The pictures tell the story-very clean. The rear most part of the headliner has fallen slightly – should not be a problem for years to come. WHEELS AND TIRES: The factory 17 inch wheels are in excellent condition and free of any serious curbing. They are far better than what I am accustomed too for the age of the vehicle. The tires are Michelins with 30-40% tread war remaining. They run smooth at highway speeds. The center caps are worn. TRUNK-SPARE-TOOLS: The trunk (boot) is very clean and correct. The spare is with the car and is a full size wheel like the 4 on the ground. The tools appear to be all there. Books are in the glove box. ISSUES OR CONCERNS: This Jaguar is equipped with an aftermarket radio. It is obvious at one time it had probably an in car entertainment system (only a guess). The good news is it comes with the original radio. The sunroof will open on the tilt feature but will not open on the slide. This could be expensive so be warned. There is no wind noise or leakage from the sunroof. The slide shade does work. The rear suspension leaks air when left to sit overnight, it pumps up quickly and if driven regularly it probably will be fine. There are conversion kits for these systems. There may be other issues but I have not experienced any other thing wrong. As always if you have any questions simply call or email. Remember many of our offerings are sold before the auction ends.
