I bought this southern 2002 Toyota Tundra SRT5 TRD in April of this year and have spent a about $3700(documented) as discussed latter to refresh or repair it. I bought it with towing in mind but now am not going to do that. It was a company truck bought by the driver and used in the south only where there is no salt on the roads. His main repair at 104,852 miles was at Cottman Transmission for a trans rebuild for $2092.96. He also replaced battery in Feb 2015. After buying it I had $3000 done at local Toyota dealers including, radiator and brake flush, lower ball joints and tie rods, master cylinder, SRS air bag repair including seat belt anchor/sensor, O2 sensor, spark plugs, compression check(A OK). I also had the following done for about $1750. Replaced really bad tires with used correct size recent date code tires, bought used OEM like new Toyota bed liner, new bed rails, new tonneau cover, new headlights to get rid of the fogged ones, I blacked out bumpers and grills, new windshield, new mud flap, had a professional polyurethane paint job after replacing dented front fender and door with oem used parts. Runs well and during a trip on the interstate last week for over 100 miles at 75mph it got 17 mpg. The 4 wheel drive is controlled by a electric dash switch and has 2wd, 4wd and low 4wd. AC is cold and everything works such as original radio with single cd and casette. Power windows, power locks and cruise work. Has ABS brakes. Non-smoker owners. Although I had the truck painted I did not have the dents filled in with body putty so some still show. Mechanically vg condition considering age. Cosmetically good. Interior carpets could use some more cleaning. Underside is good especially since it spent entire life in NC and Tn until it came to Cincinnati in April of this year
