(the Chevy =45.9K and the Ford =51K); both are True Convertibles We Reserve the right to end this auction early, since this car is also being offered for sale locally History: - Original Car was found in OHIO, It was a stock 1937 Chevrolet, all Steel, Cabriolet (Convertible) one of only 1,724 built - Originally finished & titled in Ohio, as a 1937 Chevrolet CN (Convertible), with in-line 6 engine (leaded gas) and original 6 Volt, original brakes and drive-train. Original car was not suited for safe, hi-speed &/or long range highway driving - This car was Resto-Moded to make it perform better, to be safer and to be more reliable (& More fun) - The car was completely rebuilt on original 1937 Chassis (Resto-Moded); and completed in 2013. - Used local body / engine & interior shops in & around Ohio ( near Zenia); - Car used some original parts (Chassis/Frame, Convertible Top frame??, Bumper? and some “brite/trim work. - Rebuilt car was reinspected & titled (1937 Chevy Master Convertible) w/ new VIN # 412465, in OHIO by Ohio DMV. and has: SUPERIOR Reinforced Fiberglass Body (Shaved, chopped). It was used because it is light weight (on 1937 frame), but has steel substructures & steel reinforcements that supply rigidity and support for key body areas; including doors, hood & trunk lid.
