Tag on frame indicates mfg 8/73, titles as a 1974. Previous owner preferred later (1975) planet blue metallic color and installed a 1975 tank and matched the side covers. ( I like it better as well). Very few faults: 1) several paint chips on left front of tank (see pics) 2) crease on lower front fender (can be removed by body man without rechrome 3) left upper pipe at the pipe/muffler junction minor corrosion (has had epoxy repair (see pics). Now the good, other than the one spot mentioned the pipes are very straight and shiny, the undersides have no rust thru spots and appear very solid. I've included a pic of the pipes (I removed to clean and inspect). I've seen very few original ones in this good of condition. All electrics work , turn signal beeper even works. New front rubber, rear very good. Bike starts and sounds great (quiet/no smoke) typical clutch rumble at idle (not there when clutch lever engaged). Tank is straight - inside looks clean. Fresh oil and filter. Virtually instant starter with the button. Seat not torn or ripped. Side covers all tabs in place, no cracks or repairs. The bike draws attention wherever I've ridden it - looks very good. Pls review carefully the pics and ask questions - I'll provide honest answers. Bike is offered "as-is/where-is" FOB Middletown, Oh 45044. Seller will assist buyer or buyers' agent in loading - crating not available. Recommend U-Ship for pick-up and delivery. A $400 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours of auction close, balance to be paid within 7 days of auction close in a manner acceptable to buy and seller. Seller cannot guarantee mileage, although based on the overall condition of the bike, suspect it is accurate.
