For Sale 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (In need or restoration or can be used for parts) Has key and a clean New Jersey Title. Last time registered and driven was 2002 Car has been in the family for 30 years. Has been garage kept and awaiting restoration for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, we need to find it a new home and hope someone with the ability to restore it or use for its parts will be able to take it. It was my mother's car since the 80's. She drove it periodically into the 90's. A friend of hers started and never finished a restore job in the early 90's. In about 1999, another attempt to restore it with new floor boards, and brake job was done. It was moved around until about 2006, when I acquired it and it has been in my garage basically untouched ever since. It did start and run around then, but hasn't been attempted since. The engine did run when it was last put away. I believe it is 1200 cc engine. I do not believe this is the original engine and I do not know how many miles are on the car or engine. Odometer reads 43292. Please take a look at all the pictures, feel free to contact me with any questions. I will try to provide detailed answers and/or pictures if requested. Parts: (please take a look at pictures for all assorted parts: mouldings, door handles, windshield wipers, parking light covers, seat belts, emblems, Brand new complete carpet set (black) with carpet layout diagram, brand new Dashboard, assorted knobs (lights, hazard, air, emergency), center hubcaps (3), Hubcap rims (3), headlight rims, extra set of doors and hood) Buyer is responsible for all pickup and removal within 10 days of end of auction.
