Vehicle Detail
Now with no reserve! Triumph Trident T160, complete bike in running condition. Good shape overall but will need some restoration to be really nice. Brakes work. Chrome on headlamp has some pitting, paint will need redone to be perfect, leaves a few drips of oil after running for a while. Starter does work. New hi-power battery. Ignition system upgraded with Tri-Spark electronic ignition. Three into one exhaust with Dunstall style muffler. Avon tires with good tread. Exhaust, while presentable, has rust pitting and will need to be replaced or re-chromed for a true restoration. The bike does not look bad just trying to be honest with the condition. I was going to restore this bike but never seem to have the time. Everything is there, nothing difficult to try to find. Parts are readily available. This is the most collectable year for the Trident, good bike to invest the time and money in. Now no reserve, bike will sell to highest bidder! Bike is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Clear Florida title in my name I can assist your shipper with the bike On Aug-10-15 at 08:15:30 PDT, seller added the following information: I should add that this bike has been in storage for a couple of years, and has not been ridden recently. I did speak with the seller, and he said the bike was in good running and driving condition when he stopped riding after an accident on his other bike, a Triumph Bonneville. I also spoke with the shop which maintained this bike for the seller. Wes Scott Cycles in Fort Lauderdale did the maintenance on the bike over the years, and reported that the bike was in good shape when last in. I have now started and run the bike, it sounds like it needs a carb cleaning, but does run. It would not idle though, I may try to clean the carbs this week if I have time. I just added new handlebars and a new front fender from Wes Scott Cycles. I also bought the new carb rebuild kits from Wes Scott Cycles and will try to find time this week to install these parts. Price will increase each week as I continue to restore the bike No Reserve! On Aug-19-15 at 19:01:39 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine number matches the frame number, and also the VIN number on the title. Carbs are rebuilt now, but I have not yet had time to run and tune the bike
