HURRY AND MAKE OFFER OR BUY IT NOW AS CAR IS OFFERED FOR SALE LOCALLY. GREAT PRICE FOR A CAR IN THIS CONDITION. My listing is for a nice condition 1971 Opel GT. Car has clean title, registration is on a California non-op with has no back fees. It is not perfect as it is 44 years old but it is in nice condition for the price. The Strato Blue repaint is good at 10 feet away, the interior was redone a few years ago by previous owner as was the carpet. Headliner is in nice condition. Headlights flip and work, car runs well, shifts well. Car has unusual non-working AC unit as it is in the car in the back of the car. It is dealer installed; but I have never seen anything like it before. Get it working or just leave it.I just purchased this car recently from the owner of 10 years as I love these cars; my wife had a different emotion when she saw; yet another car show up. I have 8 cars and this one was the last straw; well the one before this one was the last straw...I will be selling that one next week or so.Any how, the car needs a front tire as previous owner installed a snow tire it is a good tire but not the correct type. I would replace all the filters, hoses, belts and liquids just because that is what I do when I buy any car. The brakes work great but the red light comes on when you push the pedal; could need brakes or be low on fluid. While the front lights work I noticed some of the rear lights didn't work; not sure if the bulbs or wiring. Shouldn't be hard to sort out. I have an extra amber lens to replace broken on in front, there is rust from battery acid and picture shows only real dent on car. Opel GT Source in Northern California has all the parts for these cars and they are very helpful with questions as they sell parts and also restore Opel's.
