Selling my 1985 HONDA GOLD WING GL1200 LIMITED EDITION TRIKE. (THE MOTORTRIKE KIT WAS INSTALLED) I purchased this bike last September with the hopes of restoring it. I never had the money or time to complete that task. The bike currently runs, but I've only taken it out for about 20 miles. I really don't know that much about it. I do know the front brakes need to be adjusted. Trike has new tires and a new starter. It looks good in the pictures, but make no mistake, this is an old bike. Some work will need to be done to it. For instance, if you look at the front wheel area, there are some hanging wires and missing light lenses. Also missing lenses on the rear end. Trim coming off of left wheel well (see pic # 7). Coming off in the middle and the bottom. Could use a new battery too. I have to jump start it sometimes. But I don't mess with it that much. Minor stuff if you know what you are doing. A person who knows about motorcycles should go over everything and check it out. Bike has no reverse gear. I don't think Honda added a reverse gear until 1988. Needs a good wash and wax too. Miles = 119266 ***** 8/17/15 Bike will not start. I had it on the charger, hit the start button, and all I hear is clicking. Winning bidder should plan on renting a U-Haul trailer.***** **8/18/15 Bike is totally dead now. I turn the key and I had lights yesterday, now nothing. Knocking $300 off the price to cover a new battery and maybe a fuse or something.** New price $3500. Lot of parts available for this bike on eBay and the internet.
